Core purpose

  • Ensure that the company’s services meet company and contractual standards and that all activities are carried out in compliance with approved procedures.

  • Responsible for supporting the organisation in identifying non-conformances, lessons learnt and ensuring these together with corrective actions are tracked, implemented and verified.

  • Provide the focal point for QHSE supplier auditing.

  • This function will require occasional travel between facilities and project sites across the OEG Subsea Division.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the company to integrate OEG Subsea division quality processes into company operations.

  • Responsible for undertaking and reporting on internal audits.

  • Responsible for ensuring the investigation of non-conformances is carried out.

  • Responsible for liaising with stakeholders where a formal complaint is received and to ensure the company complaints procedure is adhered to.

  • Support project personnel in the classification of undesirable events; ensuring that appropriate investigations are carried out including the production of reports and leading investigations as required.

  • Responsible for the tracking of lessons learnt across the organisation; ensuring process owners implement suitable mitigations and carry out verification checks.

  • Responsible for the tracking of all corrective actions across the organisation; ensuring process owners implement suitable mitigations and carry out verification checks.

  • Responsible for carrying out initial QHSE supplier audits (both desktop and site based) and any required renewal audits while maintaining suitable records of all assessments.

  • Provide the focal point for dealing with supplier non-conformances to ensure that suitable corrective measures are put in place and verified.

  • Ensure that Integrated Management System documentation is controlled as per company standards.

  • Provide the focal point for document system improvements maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of software advances and how these can be levered for the company’s benefit.

  • Collect, analysis and summarise quality related data for senior management review and where applicable highlighting trends and areas for improvements.

QHSE responsibilities

To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.

Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

Skills and experiences

  • Previous experience in the offshore energy industry.

  • Subsea industry experience is preferred.

  • Awareness of key compliance areas with industry standards (e.g. IMCA, IRATA) and relevant legislation.

  • In depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.

  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office including online data management systems (SharePoint etc).

  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.

  • Previous experience in supporting and cooperating with team members and other departments.

  • Demonstrate the ability to organise and execute tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • A higher education qualification in quality control, quality assurance, or another relevant and transferable field.

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

  • Incident investigation certified training is desirable.
