Our people

I joined OEG's topside division in 2021 as a Project Coordinator with a background in the marine industry, with my university studies focused on renewables and offshore wind.
My initial challenge was working on the delivery of temporary power for Hornsea TWO offshore wind farm, from which I then stepped up to a Project Management role where I successfully managed the delivery of temporary power during the construction of St Nazaire offshore wind farm. I have since continued to manage the delivery of OEG’s temporary power projects and have expanded my involvement into OEG temporary power delivery in the USA.
Working now as Operations Program Manager, I have a strong involvement in project delivery as well as involvement at the early tender and contract stages, and have been working to build and develop OEG’s temporary power project management team.
My career within OEG's topside division has given me many an opportunity which have offered me the chance to progress my career and take on exciting challenges. My role incorporates a lot of both UK and international travel.

I began my career in the offshore sector 26 years ago when I joined Harran Limited as a Trainee Service Engineer. I progressed to Senior Service Engineer, before company growth resulted in my appointment as Operations Manager.
As the company continued to grow and diversify, the technical support aspect of the role led to the need to create a new Technical Manager position, which I occupied for 5 years before OEG acquired the company in 2019.
As Technical Manager for the aviation side of OEG, I am responsible for providing guidance, technical support and training to internal and external stakeholders relating to OEG’s aviation support services, with particular focus on offshore helicopter refuelling systems.
I have carried out editorial duties and co-authoring of chapters 7 & 8 of CAP 437 on behalf of UK CAA and I am a technical consultant to the CAA’s document owner on matters relating to offshore helicopter refuelling.
Years of problem solving ‘opportunities’ in often difficult or pressurised situations develops a unique set of skills which have been applied throughout my progression of roles within the company. I have also had the opportunity to return to academia during my career, completing a Business Management qualification at the Open University.

With a background in mining engineering, I was always interested in the operational side of energy resources, especially in oil & gas and wind energy. I started working at OEG's subsea division in 2022, and I was sure this company was the perfect match for me. In this fast-paced world, it’s a real privilege to work at OEG and gather new knowledge about the industry.
As a Junior Project Engineer, I’m responsible for preparing operational documentation before projects get started, as well as planning and coordinating the mobilisation and execution of the work itself. My goal is to implement project-specific procedures and technical specifications, and to communicate with our clients and sub-contractors as effectively as possible. My projects are always dynamic. Every day feels like a new adventure!

I began my career with OEG's subsea division in May 2023, assuming the role of Lead Project Engineer. What drew me to this dynamic team was the diverse range of projects spanning various disciplines such as diving, wind farm construction, and marine civil engineering.
My first project with OEG was a diving project, involving the replacement of several mooring chains on an FPSO and inspection work in the North Sea. Despite being a newcomer to diving projects, I embraced the challenge and found myself learning a lot.
Following the successful completion of the diving project, I was asked if I would like to consider a new role within the company as a Project Manager. Embracing this opportunity, I moved into the role of Assistant Project Manager for my next project - UXO Identification and Clearance campaign.
In my day-to-day responsibilities, I engage with offshore teams on project progress, risks, and schedule, alongside communicating with other project stakeholders. I also coordinate with engineers and cost controllers to ascertain equipment requirements and project finances.
The organisation has been excellent with training and personal development requirements which has made me feel like a valued member of the team. As the company continues to grow and win larger projects, I feel like I’m in a very good position to continue to develop my career and further learning.

After graduating university, I began my career in logistics at a major transport company, a career path inspired by my father. The specialist skills I developed during my time as Logistics Coordinator in the transport industry led to me joining OEG 5 years ago.
As a Project Coordinator I directly assist our Regional Director with specific administrative tasks in my assigned projects. This includes organising and communicating project details and specific assignments to team members, clients and suppliers and acting as a liaison between them.
Being part of OEG has given me the opportunity to continuously develop my skillset while being part of a supportive growing company. OEG’s global presence enables me to work in an international environment and learn about different cultures and countries, which is something that I enjoy.

I began my career with OEG's topside division as a PPE and Logistics Coordinator, progressing to PPE and Logistics Manager. I then was offered the HR Advisor role which is my current position with the company.
My day to day role is to look after the employee life cycle of all the employees in OEG's marine coordination team, making sure their health and wellbeing is prioritised and in check. My other responsibilities include looking after all of the contractors, maintaining their contracts and making sure they have IR35.
I’m currently studying for my CIPD level 5 as part of my continuous professional development with OEG, and I hope to become HR Manager in the future.
The best thing about working for OEG is the opportunities for career development and learning within the renewables industry. Alongside this, all my colleagues are great to communicate with, everyone is really friendly and it’s an amazing company to work for.
