At OEG, sustainability is central to our purpose. As the world transitions to cleaner energy, we’re evolving to meet the challenge, adapting our services, reducing our environmental footprint, and helping our clients do the same. We are driven by a commitment to secure a future where energy is not only reliable and affordable, but also sustainable.

Our role in the energy transition

OEG is firmly positioned as a leader in the global offshore energy industry, delivering integrated solutions for the full lifecycle of offshore energy assets and infrastructure.

As our business grows through acquisition and expansion, we’re equally focused on decarbonising our operations, reducing emissions, enhancing energy efficiency, and shifting to greener practices across our footprint.

Strategic framework

Our strategic framework, OEG Sustain+, is structured around five key focus areas, which collectively drive the objectives of OEG and align with the goals of our core customer base and stakeholders. This comprehensive framework guides our actions and ambitions while ensuring we have a comprehensive understanding of our material impacts, risks and opportunities. As we deliver on our Sustain+ framework, we’ll continue to report on progress against our goals.

Our path to net zero

Decarbonisation is a critical part of the global energy transition — and central to OEG’s long-term strategy. As a business operating in the offshore energy sector, we recognise our responsibility to reduce emissions and align with the expectations of our clients, partners, regulators, and wider stakeholders.

We are committed to measurable, transparent progress. Using 2024 as our emissions baseline, we are establishing reduction targets for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, supported by a roadmap of tangible actions. Emissions associated with marine vessels, which represent a significant share of our carbon footprint, are being addressed through a separate decarbonisation pathway to ensure targeted and industry-specific solutions.
