This campaign has seen more than 50 highly skilled OEG blade technicians supporting on a daily basis, managing all aspects of blade inspection, maintenance, and repair of both onshore and offshore wind turbines. The team also collects operational data to strengthen the client’s asset management and long-term performance.
The scope has been delivered by an experienced team of blade repair technicians from OEG’s offshore wind topside services team. The campaign has also seen the deployment of a state-of-the-art 360-degree Blade Access Platform, SQYFlex, developed by PP Techniq. This innovative approach to blade access enhances safety, productivity and reduces weather downtime by flexibly adapting to the blade’s shape, ensuring optimal stability and safer, more efficient conditions for technicians to execute their work.
