Core purpose

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineering. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineering
• This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a keen eye for detail
• Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks, or other drafting software to create detailed drawings
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineers to understand project requirements
• Develop 2D drawings, schematics, and layouts
• Assist in the preparation of technical documents and reports
• Review and modify designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Incorporate feedback from team members to make necessary revisions
• Create BOM's in ERP software for manufacturing
• Create cut list for material take off

QHSE responsibilities

To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.

Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

Skills and experiences

• Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and SolidWorks, or related software

• Strong understanding of drafting techniques and principles

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• The use of ERP software

• Proficiency in Microsoft software
