Core purpose
-
Carry out daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on the pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components of the diving equipment.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Workshop:
-
Testing of all diving and project-related equipment.
-
Mobilisation and demobilisation of diving and project-related equipment and units, both locally and overseas.

Ensure that assembly testing, and repair activities are carried out in accordance with standard procedures, including IMCA, WOD-SOE and applicable quality standards.

Quality control of equipment in accordance with IMCA, WOD-SOE and Bluestream quality standards.

Compliance with relevant health and safety policies.

Report as required on any changes to standards (both internally and externally initiated) and on performance against those standards.

Collaborate with subcontractors on system-related tasks.

Deploy offshore as required.

Ensure that any changes to equipment or systems are fully authorised, comply with established standards, and are supported by drawings and technical documentation in accordance with engineering procedures.

Maintain test and certification records within BAS.

Organise and supervise all tests and certifications carried out by external contractors or certifying authorities.

Ensure compliance with SCC (VCA) and ISO standards.
Operational (offshore):

Execute work in accordance with company and client QHSE policies and procedures.

Maintain test and certification records in the asset management system.

Maintain spares at the required inventory levels.

Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components of diving and project-related equipment.
QHSE responsibilities
To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.
Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

Skills and experiences
-
Intermediate technical education in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical engineering.

Demonstrated strong interest in pursuing a career in the offshore industry.

Good knowledge of high-voltage electrical safety practices.

Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment and associated software.

Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read and adjust electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic line drawings.

Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
-
Offshore industry experience is desirable but not a requirement for this position.

Good knowledge of industry standards and relevant legislation compliance.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
-
SSC (VCA) certified, or willing to obtain certification.
