Essential temporary power solutions
OEG delivers essential temporary power solutions offshore during critical phases of global wind energy projects, offering tailored, engineered temporary power solutions in line with technological advancements to meet each specific projects specification.
Our modular temporary power units enable us to minimise footprint for the restricted space available on offshore platforms and reduce crane time with single lift capability. Once installed, our offshore technicians provide 24/7 refuelling and maintenance services for the temporary power generators, providing essential power for the systems inside an offshore wind turbine.
Temporary power pods
Whether your requirement is for the construction phase or to support operations & maintenance downtime, we can supply various tried and tested temporary power solutions for the offshore wind sector. These can also be tailored to suit unique requirements.
Our hybrid and diesel temporary power setups offer the highest level of reliability and flexibility in equal measure, complemented by our strong technical management and purpose-built CTV fleet, allowing OEG to meet the sector’s growing needs.
Experts in our field
Specialist expertise in reliable temporary power for offshore energy operations.
Experience
Highly experienced management team, technicians and crew, with an extensive track record delivering successful temporary power projects on offshore wind sites globally.
Design
Modular design to ensure a small equipment footprint on the transition piece. Our solutions are optimised to reduce number of lifts during installation, providing a cost-effective solution.
Installation
Safe and efficient installation offshore by a skilled team of technicians, working within the limited space available on the transition piece.
Endurance
Fuel tanks with as large as practical capacity to increase endurance. To achieve that we often fabricate tanks in-house to allow the modular set-up with a minimised footprint.
Demobilisation
Our 2000 and 3000 litre models break down into three and five individual components respectively; this then reduces the largest lift to under 1.5 tonnes and therefore into the capability of the transition piece crane.
Supported by our fleet of crew transfer vessels
We currently own and globally operate 15 multi-purpose CTV offshore vessels. All of these are located across the globe supporting offshore wind construction and operation and maintenance activities.
